After Opponents Overcall 1nt - 2007/12/19 15:41In first seat I opened 1D. LHO overcalls 1NT (11 to 14 points). 1) What does a 2H bid by partner mean? I view the bid by partner as competitive. My theory is that with a reasonably strong hand we have a majority of the points and partner should double. 2) Also what would a 3H bid by partner mean? (Note, we play we jumps in competition, but I'm not sure we want to in this instance.)
