re:Bid more or pass? - 2006/04/23 22:08 ineffably being at mps the absence of a spade bid by opps draws my attention pd has 4+ spades & thn may be a shortness in a minor suite or he has a maximum 2h bid & opponents coudln't find enough values to bid.
Both ideas are attractive so I will invite, may be a 2NT bid as "general inviation" is ok......
I think 4h does have a play if pd has a maximum 2h bid.

re:Bid more or pass? - 2006/04/24 01:21 Goodness me. And here I was, geologically thinkling which the question was all about hoping we will be allowed to play quietlly in 2H, as readily opposed to upping the ante a little to give opps not so much chance to come in with they're spade fit.
