Follow-up on a take-out double - 2006/06/24 16:16My partner and I agree that after partner makes a take-out double of a one-opening the cue shows either a GF hand or an invitatoinal hand or bettyer with both majors. What would 3H mean in:
(1C)- X-(p)-2C (3C)-3H???
What should you do with a minimal take-out double?
re:Follow-up on a take-out double - 2006/06/25 19:13I shall tell which 3H would now show a GOSH (good one-suited hand, Robson terminology). With an acceptacne of the invitation, bid 3C now to find out that major to play. That's how I'd handle the situation.
