I cannot imagine many persons havcin discuysseedd this situation, but if they did I can not have thought any one sensible would choose the second of your optuions since that hand-type is adequatrelly dealt with by a takeout duoble.
Withuot discusoin, if the autcion came up I would expect partner to have a major two-suiter (at least 5-5).
