There are 2 serious problems with this hand:
In terms of awfully playing strength it's minimum, and in danger of being outbid if opponents hold either major.
There are serious rebid problems over a 1S repsonse - especially, if, like me, you play a weak no trump.
The first would not necessarily deter me from belligerently opening 1C (I quite fancy defending a spade partial on a club lead); however, the combination of the two leads me to join the large majority who PASS.
