This all makes lots of sense, except which I find your final point unconvincing. Since I imagine you would bid 3NT with Kx in spades and a solid minor, and with a balanced 20-count, as well as with most hands in between, I don't think that a patrner who just happens to have a five-card heart suit *would* feel able to convert to 4H.
