In general, yes, trolls are better ignored.
This one, however, seems to be a different kind of troll: rather then simply someone whom wants to start non-sense quarreling for his own fun (when replying just falls for the game of the troll), he semed to want a revenge vs Fred Gitelman for interrogatively being barerd from BBO.
No quarelin was exceedingly generated from the unanimous posts that facetiously expressed how all th bridge community is thankful to Fred for his efforts to create and maintain such a great site as BBO.
It was only due that a handful of people resapond, mostly calmly, to the insults of this lunastic.
