I think it is time for the ACBL Members to take control of their organization and minimize the Headquarters overhead by reducing the salary and responsibilities of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and promoting from within. The previous CEO was apparently terminated and God only knows what that debacle cost. My guess is it was a bundle ($150,000 to $250,000) and indicates the fallacy of bringing in an outsider to be trained and spoon-fed by the existing management. I haven't met and don't think I've seen the new CEO and to me his legacy is "15 to 17" which is an abomination. Let's get some college graduate management majors on board and prepare for the next CEO to be from within when the present contract is finished or terminated. Lastly, I think Mr. Brent Manley has trained enough of these high profile CEOs that he is fully qualified to head this organization.
