With nobody vulnerable you hold s QT9853 h 42 d JT c AKQ and open 1s playing 5 card majors and negative doubles. LHO overcalls 2h and this is passed roud to you. What do you bid? I said that double is 'automatic' with this hand, but only one other out of the club of 40 people agreed with me and everybody else said (did) bid 2s. I think that 2s is a terrible bid.
Are 95% of the club wrong?
