(1) No explicit age restriction
(2) Call them "social" events, rather than "senior" events.
(3) Significantly more time per board, if necessary by drastically reducing boards per session.
(4) Serious restriction on systems/conventions allowed. Perhaps segregate sections for strong club users, weak notrump users.
(5) Perhaps a half-hour "chat break", with refreshments
